A good book opens
more than its pages.

It opens a conversation. Makes a feeling easier to name. Helps a child see that their story matters, too.

Life of Words is a children’s publishing venture with a planned base in Singapore. Our editorial focus is Taiwan: its children’s literature, illustration, cultural heritage, and contemporary life. We seek thoughtful fiction and nonfiction for readers from birth to fourteen; books full of imagination, encouragement, and room to grow.

Our publishing vision connects meaningful stories with everyday life: emotional wellbeing, education, family relationships, and the small choices that help us live well together.

Could your next story
find a home with us?

We are especially interested in Taiwanese children’s books and works connected to Taiwan, with a distinctive voice, thoughtful ideas, and a lasting place in a child’s life.

Taiwanese picture books, children’s fiction, and engaging nonfiction for ages 0–14. We welcome cultural stories alongside books about emotional wellbeing, education, parenting, family life, and growing up.

What we look for

We seek translation and publishing rights for Singapore, considering each title individually and discussing available languages, territories, formats, and the needs of the original work.

A thoughtful rights conversation

A rights catalogue or sample, a short synopsis, the intended age group, and details of available rights are a useful starting point.
